The 1st edition of the Jean Monnet joint interdisciplinary module on “Europe in crisis in a globalized world”, launched at the beginning of the 2017/2018 academic year, ended on Friday, December 8, 2017 with a reunion of all the students who took the course. Some 130 students from ten Master’s courses at the Universities of Nantes, Angers and Le Mans were then gathered at the Faculty of Law of the University of Nantes.

Course calendar
The students had to choose between two sub-themes ("Questioning the Idea of Europe" and "Europe, a land of exile and migration"), each one declined in 10 pedagogical sequences (video capsules and multiple choice questions) available on the Extradoc online platform. Once formed groups, they elaborated their own productions on a subject and format of their choice. In each Master, the students evaluated the productions of all the groups and chose a work that was presented last Friday.
A total of 10 productions (1 per master) were submitted to a jury composed of our civil society partners:
- Laurence Aubron, Programme Director, EuradioNantes
- Philippe Malinge, Vice-President of the Maison de l'Europe in Nantes
- Jean-Marc Minier, President of the Maison de l'Europe in Angers
- Marie-France Mailhos, President of the European Education Association
4 awards were given to the groups whose work is presented below. Their authors should not be judged according to their level of expertise on the complex concepts they dealt with, which often call for multiple skills and disciplines.
