Master – International Cultural Studies

Basic Information

If you are interested in interculturality and internationality, this curriculum is for you. Offering transdisciplinary courses and a subject taught in four different languages, it allows students to reach a high level in English, German and Spanish or in the field of literature, and to develop their knowledge in the field of international cultural studies.

The International Cultural Studies course is part of a joint master's degree with the University of Angers.

Employment Opportunities

The students of this master's degree can then work in the fields of culture, communication, documentation or attempt administrative competitions.

International dimension

  • First year students can do an internship or a study stay abroad.
  • In the 2nd year, this stay or internship is mandatory.
  • The International Cultural Studies Master has exchange agreements (ERASMUS, ISEP, etc.) with 22 partner universities in Europe, North America and Asia (other agreements are currently under study).

Registration and admission

To enroll, you must either have a national diploma conferring the degree of Bachelor in a field compatible with that of the national Master's degree, or a validation of studies, acquired knowledge or professional experience.

Admission to Master 1 is possible after obtaining a Licence 3 or through an equivalence delivered by the validation commission. Admission to Master 2 is possible after the validation of a M1 with at least a mention Fairly Good (12).
